This role is ideal for an experienced data engineering professional eager to take a leadership position in shaping high-impact data infrastructure. As a Staff Data Engineer, you will architect and maintain scalable, reliable pipelines and cloud-based platforms to enable data-driven decisions across the organization.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, DevOps, and data science to build innovative solutions, integrate APIs, and optimize real-time and batch data flows. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, a mentorship mindset, and a passion for creating efficient, production-grade systems that support continuous innovation.

Accountabilities:

• Design and maintain scalable real-time and batch data pipelines using Python and Go
• Build integrations with internal and external APIs to enrich the core data platform
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and DevOps teams to optimize infrastructure and workflows
• Lead architecture initiatives focused on reliability, data modeling, and governance
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and promote best practices across teams
• Ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and documentation across all systems

Contribute to strategic planning by staying up-to-date with emerging technologies

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or software development with a focus on data
• 3+ years of technical leadership and mentorship experience
• Proven expertise in cloud-based streaming data infrastructure and large-scale distributed systems
• Advanced proficiency with Python, Go, and cloud technologies
• Experience with tools such as DBT, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD platforms
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with real-time data pipelines in a production environment is a strong plus
