As a Senior or Staff DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting development teams by designing scalable infrastructure, streamlining development pipelines, and championing DevOps best practices. You’ll provide deep, hands-on technical support and collaborate closely with engineering, IT, and InfoSec to ensure efficiency, performance, and security. Your strategic insight and technical expertise will help shape the foundation of next-generation solutions in a highly dynamic and mission-driven environment.Accountabilities:
- Deliver hands-on technical support to developers, optimizing workflows and solving complex DevOps challenges
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and development tools, primarily in AWS
- Implement automation strategies across CI/CD pipelines and release processes using tools like CircleCI
- Manage configuration systems such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
- Oversee containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
- Support observability and incident response through tools such as Datadog and PagerDuty
- Collaborate on compliance, security, and regulatory requirements including CFR 21 traceability
- Partner with leadership to align DevOps strategies with long-term product and infrastructure goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior-level DevOps or engineering role, with a strong focus on developer support
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud services (GCP or Azure experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in CI/CD automation, GitHub workflows, and release engineering
- Strong skills in Linux systems, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and secure integration practices
- Programming skills in at least one language (Python preferred)
- Experience with IoT device orchestration and highly distributed systems
- Preferred: background in MedTech, machine learning environments, and regulatory compliance (CFR 21, CloudTrail)
