You’ll contribute to the design, development, and scaling of cloud-based microservices that power real-time location data for millions of users worldwide. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive on solving complex system challenges, working in collaborative environments, and contributing to the growth of AI-driven spatial applications.

Accountabilities:

• Design and build scalable backend services using Python and TypeScript
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute development tasks
• Optimize systems for high availability, low latency, and global performance
• Write unit tests and documentation while ensuring code quality and maintainability
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive operational excellence
• Improve service reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical debt reduction
• Contribute to a team culture of transparency, innovation, and inclusive collaboration

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing scalable backend systems
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and cloud platforms (especially AWS)
• Hands-on experience with tools such as CDK, ECS, Step Functions, Lambda, and S3
• Proficiency with GitHub or similar version control systems
• Ability to work independently and deliver features from design to deployment
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator with a passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring
• Commitment to inclusive team collaboration and delivering high-quality code
