You’ll collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to enhance automation testing, maintain robust test suites, and contribute to a CI/CD culture. Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Contribute to an automation-first testing strategy and CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Collaborate with developers and product experts to identify, report, and resolve bugs
- Write and manage detailed test cases and documentation for APIs, user interfaces, and workflows
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure product integrity
- Ensure high test coverage across complex scientific software platforms
- Support release testing and performance validation as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive testing best practices
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in QA/Testing, with at least 4 years in automation testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress (commands, plugins, debugging, Shadow DOM, React, Page Objects)
- Proficiency in TypeScript, including interfaces, generics, and asynchronous programming
- Experience with API testing, test case design, and test documentation
- Solid understanding of Git workflows, branching, and tools like JIRA
- Detail-oriented, autonomous, and methodical in approach to testing
- Bonus: Experience with K6 for performance testing and testing for data integrity during upgrades
